Teamviewer Not Connecting To Mac

Jun 24, 2019 Will not connect from Windows 10 to Mac I have a Windows 10 PC with latest version of TeamViewer that does not connect to my Mac which also has the latest version of TeamViewer. It just stays in the connecting mode. TeamViewer Host is used for 24/7 access to remote computers, which makes it an ideal solution for uses such as remote monitoring, server maintenance, or connecting to a PC or Mac in the office or at home. Teamviewer Not Connecting To Mac Pc

I am going on a vacation soon and need to access my iMac for I have files stored on it. But here's where my problem starts. My Mac will have no problem connecting to my Windows laptop. It's only when the laptop tries to connect to the iMac it has a problem. I have been able to connect to the iMac only a twice: once from the laptop and once from my iPod; and then it refused all incoming connections. I don't know if this is a firewall issue or what. I doubt it is, though, because my firewall is off. Both the iMac and the laptop say 'awaiting authentication' but never gets past it. All help is appreciated.
P.S. I just posted it here because to me it seems like a hardware problem.
